Muslims in Missouri have protested in front of the Congress Head office of the state, demanding its members to halt the rising phenomenon of Islamophobia.
Media sources reported that hundreds of Muslims and non-Muslims in the US state of Missouri staged a protest raising the slogan “unity against hatred” in front of the US Congress Head Office of St. Louis, Missouri.
One of the activists stated: “We expect lawmakers to reconsider and stop such phenomenon by refusing to support the projects that come in the form of proposals for approval by Congress.”
He added that this protest was participated by both Muslims and Non-Muslims, noting that the intimidation is now against Muslims, but in the future it might stand against other religions.
