Non Violence World Organization condemned Saudi Arabia’s execution of Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr, calling on Muslims to avoid sectarian strife and organize peaceful protests.
The organization said in a statement that the latest incidents that took place in Tehran when a group of protesters attacked Saudi consulate are unjustifiable and work against the justice of Shiekh Nimr’s case.
The organization added that such incidents might motivate some sectarian regimes to use them against Shia Muslims and ignite hatred against them.
The organization said in the statement that targeting Muslims from other Islamic sects doesn’t belong to Shia people’s manners and it has nothing to do with the teachings of Ahlul Bait, peace be upon them.
