Al-Nabaa Foundation for Media and Culture has held a symposium under the title of “Husseini Literature in Defying Tyrants” in the holy city of Karbala.
Ali Hussein Obaid, an Iraqi writer, spoke in the opening session talking about the challenges that faced the Husseini literature throughout the history and how tyrants stood against the literary and poetic Husseini movement.
The Eminent Sheikh Murtadha Maash said that the Husseini poetry is more powerful than the history written by the previous regimes.
He called on researchers and specialists to write the history through the implications of the Husseini literature as what the late Eminent Sheikh al-Ameeni did in al-Ghadeer Encyclopedia.
