Imam Hussein Media Group Begins Live Coverage of Arbaeen Walk 2026

Imam Hussein Media Group has begun its integrated multilingual live coverage of the Arbaeen walk as millions of pilgrims start their journey toward holy Karbala.

According to Shia Waves Agency, live broadcasts from the starting point of pilgrims’ movement in Basra province began on Sunday, July 12. The coverage will air in two special daily slots: from 5:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., Karbala time, across all Imam Hussein Media Group channels in different languages.

The media coverage will expand from the beginning of the month of Safar as the Arbaeen walking routes grow busier. Other main pilgrimage routes, including the path from the Mehran border to holy Karbala, will also be covered live.

The large-scale media project aims to connect Shia Muslims around the world with the Arbaeen pilgrimage and present the spiritual devotion and Husseini awareness of this millions-strong gathering on an international scale.
