The Karbala Office of His Eminence, the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, held mourning ceremonies commemorating the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Jafar bin Muhammad al-Sadiq, peace be upon him. 

Sheikh Zuhair Al-Asadi delivered a speech in the first ceremony about the personality of the Imam, peace be upon him, and the challenges he faced by tyrants, especially Mansour al-Dawaniqi.

In the second ceremony, Sheikh Mazen Al-Tamimi, mentioned aspects of blessed biography of Imam al-Sadiq, peace be upon him, and stressed the necessity of highlighting the life of the Imam, peace be upon him.
