Khorasani Religious Authority calls for the commemoration of demolition anniversary of Baqee Holy Shrines

The Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Wahid al-Khorasani, called for the commemoration of the demolition anniversary of Baqee Holy Shrines. 

The Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Wahid al-Khorasani, called for the commemoration of the demolition anniversary of Baqee Holy Shrines. 

In a statement on the eighth of Shawwal, the day of the demolition, al-Khorasani said, “Establish mourning ceremonies and pay attention to this day.”

He added, “Wahhabism erased all Islamic antiquities, the antiquities of the Battle of Badr, Uhud and Hanin, and the graves of the Imams of Baqee, peace be upon them.”

His Eminence stressed by saying, “You all must be diligent and revive this day (the eighth of Shawwal), until our voices are heard worldwide and our lost right is achieved.”
