Beirut-based Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi commemorates martyrdom of Sayyeda Zainab

The Office of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, yesterday held mourning ceremonies on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Sayyeda Zainab (peace be upon her).

In a statement received by Shia Waves Agency, the Office said that, “Scholars, clerics, professors of the honorable Hawza, a large number of Shia followers of AhlulBayt attended these ceremonies and extended their condolences Imam al-Mahdi, may Allah hasten his honorable reappearance.

The Office added that, “The representative of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi, Hujjat al-Islam wa-al-Muslimeen, Sheikh Jalal Ma’ash, delivered a speech in which he spoke about the blessings of the holy month of Rajab, and what is our responsibility within current economic, political, administrative, moral and doctrinal crises.”
