Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Bashir Al-Najafi extends his condolences on demise of Grand Ayatollah Mohammad al-Rohani

Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Bashir Hussein Al-Najafi has extended his condolences on the demise of Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Muhammad Sadiq al-Rohani, may Allah sanctify his soul.

In a statement received by Shia Waves Agency, Ayatollah Al-Najafi said:

“In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious Most, Merciful
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and prayers and peace be upon the best of his creation, Muhammad and his family.
Allah Almighty said: (Give good news to those who patiently endure—who, when faced with a disaster, say, “Surely to Allah we belong and to Him we will ˹all˺ return.”).
With great sorrow and pain, we received the news of the demise of the great scholar, His Eminence, the Grand Ayatollah, Sayyed Muhammad Sadiq al-Hussaini al-Rohani (may his soul be sanctified), after he had spent a long life in studying, teaching, and writing.
Allah chose him to be with his Grandfather, Prophet Muhammad and his pure Family, peace be upon them, and to be with his elder brother and our master, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad al-Ruhani.
We extend our condolences to the Imam of our time, may Allah hasten his honorable reappearance, to the religious seminaries, to the believers and to Ayatollah Al-Rohani’s family. We pray to Allah Almighty to have mercy on him”.
