Grand Ayatollah Rohani passes away

Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad Sadiq Rohani, one of the Shia religious authorities and a student of Grand Ayatollah Boroujerdi, departed from this world at the age of 96.

In the evening of Friday, December 16, 2022, during the hours attributed to Imam al-Mahdi, may Allah hasten his reappearance, the high and majestic soul of the religious authority who embodied the virtues of his predecessors and dedicated his life to the cause of religion, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad Sadiq Rohani, may God bless him, joined his pure ancestors.
