The Qom Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi congratulates the Shias for their commemoration of Farhat al-Zahra (peace be upon her)

The Office of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, in the holy city of Qom, sends blessings and congratulates Shia Muslims all over the world on the great anniversary of Farhat Zahra (peace be upon her).

According to a statement by the Office received by Shia Waves News Agency, the Grand Ayatollah congratulated the Shias of Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them) in the world on the celebration of the occasion of Farhat al-Zahra (peace be upon her) and what is known as the second Eid al-Ghadir.

In his valuable speeches and lectures, His Eminence al-Shirazi affirms that “this day must be expressed as the second Ghadir – in the noble hadith – in terms of being the day of disavowal of the enemies of Allah Almighty, as is clear in the honorable narrations.”

He adds that “the expression of this day as the Second Ghadir means that it is the day of disavowal of the enemies of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them), after the first Ghadir was the day of assuming the mandate of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him.”
