Husseiniyat al-Rasool al-Adham in London welcomed the Iraqi ambassador to Britain Jaafar al-Sadr, where he was received by the representative of the Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shiraz, may Allah prolong his life, Sheikh Rahman al-Haeri and a gathering of Ayatollah Shirazi followers.

The meeting discussed the latest developments in the Iraqi arena, stressing on the government to meet the people’s legitimate demands of the people, and amend the electoral system including the political parties’ hegemony over the state and avoiding violence on peaceful protesters.

The members of the Husseiniyah expressed their gratitude to the Iraqi Embassy for their efforts during Arbaeen.
