Shias in the world remember the departure of Imam Sayyid Muhammad al-Shirazi

Shia Islamic centers and Husseiniyas in Iraq, the Gulf States and the world are preparing to commemorate the demise anniversary of Imam Sayyed Muhammad al-Husseini al-Shirazi, which falls on Shawwal 2.

Several centers and Husseiniyas affiliated with the lovers of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, announced the establishment of mourning programs to commemorate the sorrowful occasion, and to recall the honorable stances of Imam Shirazi in the service of the Islamic Sharia and defending the doctrine of the Pure Progeny, peace be upon him.

The mourners offered condolences to the Awaited Imam Mahdi, may Allah hasten his honorable reappearance, on the demise anniversary of the late Grand Ayatollah, may Allah bless his soul.

Imam Sayyed Muhammad al-Shirazi passed away 21 years old, leaving pain and anguish in the hearts of his followers.

His Eminence was born in the city of Najaf, on the 15th of Rabi’ al-Awwal 1347 AH, and he immigrated with his father to Karbala in 1356 AH and took over the leadership of the Hawza while he was at the age of thirty-three. After the departure of his father, he became a great hawza leader.
