Imam Hussein Foundation requests Iraqi authorities to waive visa fees for Arbaeen pilgrims

The message sent to the embassy of Iraq, in London, which Shiawaves has received a copy of, began with condoling the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq on the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and continued to say “keeping in mind the that the annual sacred pilgrimage of Arbaeen is the largest faith-based gathering to take place in history, Imam Hussein Development and Relief Foundation formally requests the concerned governmental authorities of the Republic of Iraq to waive to waive the visa application fees and ease the required criteria for the application of single visa specific to the Ziyarah of Arbaeen.”
Earlier, The Mesbah al-Hussein Foundation for Development and Relief in Karbala appealed to the civil society organizations to support them and to ask the Iraqi government to cancel the visa to the visitors of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
