The Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life, stressed that the 9th of Rabiul Awal is Eid as the regular Eids, calling the people to celebrate it.
His eminence said that “we should revive the 9th of Rabiul Awal as a second Eid of al-Ghadder in terms of celebrations and joy”
Stressing that it should not be an inner joy only, but also we should celebrate the Eid.
His eminence added that such actions are the reason behind the acceptance of prayers, and the rest of duties, noting that the performance of prayers is not enough to be accepted, since not all prayers are accepted.
