Sheikh Bashir al-Najafi received Special Representative of the United Nations
The Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Bashir al-Najafi received Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General for Iraq, Mr. Ján Kubiš, in his office in the holy city of Najaf.
His Eminence stressed that the United Nation should equally solve the ordeals of many oppressed nations, expressing his sorrow over the miserable situations of Arab countries including Iraq, Syria, Yemen, and Bahrain, along with other oppressed countries.
He added that UN must end bloodshed in these countries and end discrimination.
