Grand Ayatullah Shirazi: Infallibility of Sayyida Fatima Established by Widely Transmitted Hadith

Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq Hosseini Shirazi stated that there is no room for doubt regarding the infallibility of Sayyida Fatimah al-Zahra (peace be upon her), stressing that this belief is supported by widely transmitted and authoritative evidence.

The remarks were delivered during His Eminence’s daily scholarly session, held on Wednesday, 22 Sha‘ban 1447 AH. As in previous sessions, the Supreme Marja addressed questions from attendees on a range of jurisprudential issues.

Speaking about the spiritual status of Sayyida Fatimah al-Zahra (peace be upon her), the senior cleric said that she possesses absolute infallibility (Ismah al-Kubra). He added that numerous well-established and recurrent proofs affirm her infallibility, leaving no basis for skepticism or uncertainty on the matter.
