International Celebrations Mark Birth Anniversary of Lady Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her) in Sweden and Canada

Celebrations marking the birth anniversary of Lady Fatima Zahra (peace be upon her) were held in several international Islamic centers, drawing strong participation from local communities in Europe and North America.

In Stockholm, Sweden, the Imam Hasan al-Mujtaba Hussainiya, one of the centers affiliated with the Supreme Religious Authority, organized a ceremonial gathering to commemorate the auspicious occasion. The event featured a lecture by Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Zaki al-Bayati, followed by recitations and devotional poetry performed by a group of eulogists and poets devoted to the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).

Meanwhile, in Montreal, Canada, a large public celebration took place at the World Center of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi, reflecting widespread community engagement. The program began with the congregational Maghrib and Isha prayers, after which Ustad Rezaei recited verses from the Holy Qur’an. Hujjat al-Islam Sayyid Musa Fali then delivered a speech highlighting the significance of the birth of the Holy Prophet’s daughter (peace be upon them), emphasizing the importance of understanding Lady Fatima al-Zahra’s (peace be upon her) status in the contemporary era and introducing her elevated position to diverse societies.

The ceremony concluded with devotional poetry recited by Mohammad Basri in praise of Lady Fatima Zahra (peace be upon her).
