Grand Ayatollah Shirazi Declares Spreading Ahl al-Bayt Culture and Reviving Husseini Rituals ‘Best Action’ Today

Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husayni al-Shirazi emphasized that the most important and obligatory tasks for believers today are to widely disseminate the culture of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and to glorify and revive their sacred rituals, particularly the Husseini rituals. Serving people and fulfilling their needs, he noted, comes second in priority.

The Supreme Marja urged followers to dedicate their utmost “efforts, abilities, and capabilities” to spreading the knowledge of the Prophet and his pure Household. He encouraged believers not to be concerned with “fatigue, problems, or the doubts promoted by the malicious, the discouraging, and the enemies of the Ahl al-Bayt.”

Grand Ayatollah Shirazi consistently uses his speeches and scholarly sessions to stress the necessity of spreading this culture and knowledge, which he describes as the ultimate model for achieving a dignified life and happiness in both this world and the hereafter.
