Grand Ayatullah Shirazi Holds Commemorative Ceremony to Mark Blessed Birth Anniversary of Holy Prophet and Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq (peace be upon them both)

Coinciding with the auspicious days marking the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his pure family) and the sixth infallible Imam, Ja’far al-Sadiq (peace be upon him), a celebration was held in the holy city of Qom at the honourable Residence of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husayni al-Shirazi.

The Residence of the Grand Marja‘ was illuminated with joy and reverence, as a large number of believers, including scholars, clerics, representatives of senior religious authorities, seminary students, cultural figures, and pilgrims of Lady Fatima Masoumeh (peace be upon her), gathered to extend congratulations to Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance) and the Shi’a religious leadership. Members of his Eminence’s office welcomed the visitors, offering greetings to the wider Shi’a community worldwide and praying for the dignity of Muslims and the reappearance of the awaited Savior.

Meanwhile, similar commemorations were held in Sydney, Australia, at the Ale Yasin Husayniyyah and Mosque, affiliated with the office of Grand Ayatullah Shirazi. The program drew dozens of participants from the Shi’a community. The event featured a lecture delivered by Sheikh Mohsen Ameli, as well as eulogies and devotional poetry recited by Sayyid Hashim Karbalai and Karrar Kufi, creating a vibrant spiritual atmosphere.
