Syria: Shia Man Killed in Armed Attack in Northern Aleppo
…………..
A Shia man, Ali Faraj Al-Sayyid, was killed and two others injured when gunmen opened fire on three young men from the Shia community in Al-Zahraa town, northern Aleppo, near the Bianoun junction. The injured, Youssef Muhammad Hamham and Alaa Rashid Al-Sayyid, were transported to a hospital in Aleppo for treatment.
The Syrian Center for Documenting Violations against Shia strongly condemned the attack, emphasizing that sectarian-motivated violence continues to endanger innocent lives. The organization held the Syrian government accountable for failing to prevent ongoing kidnappings, killings, and arbitrary detentions targeting the Shiite community.
