Saudi authorities issue three new death sentences against young men from Qatif
The Vice-President of the European Saudi Organization for Human Rights, Adel Al-Saeed, confirmed that the Specialized Criminal Court in Saudi Arabia issued three new death sentences against young men from Qatif.
Al-Saeed indicated in his latest tweet, that the total number of people threatened with death in Saudi Arabia is no less than 50.
This comes after the Committee for the Defense of Human Rights in the Arabian Peninsula warned earlier of a new massacre in Saudi Arabia.
In a statement, the committee highlighted the seriousness of the human rights situation in Saudi Arabia, after the escalation of death sentences by the Specialized Criminal Court in Riyadh, against citizens of prisoners of conscience, activists and demonstrators.
The committee indicated that the court issued death sentences against a group of citizens, because they practiced their right to express their opinions and express their views through social networks, or by going out in peaceful marches calling for freedom, social justice and equality among the people of the country.
