Saudi Shia Hold Muharram Mourning Gatherings at Abdulrahim Husseiniya on Tarout Island

Shia Muslims and devotees of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, in eastern Saudi Arabia held Husseini mourning ceremonies during the nights of Muharram at the Abdulrahim Husseiniya on Tarout Island, part of the Shia-majority Qatif governorate in the country’s Eastern Province.

According to Shia Waves Agency, the spiritual gathering was attended by a large number of mourners. Sheikh Ali Al-Baqal, a prominent Saudi cleric and preacher, delivered the sermon and recited the mourning narrative, addressing the tragedies and messages of the event of Ashura.
