US-based IMI provides medical aid to flood-affected areas in Pakistan
Imamia Medics International (IMI) teams established Emergency Medical-Aid Camps in flood-affected areas all across Pakistan on Tuesday, 6th of September.
In Sindh Province, about 200 patients were seen by IMI team comprising of physicians, pediatricians, cardiologists and female doctors, and all patients were provided with required medicines free of cost.
Heavy rains have reportedly killed more than 1000 people and displaced thousands in Pakistan.
It is worth noting that IMI is a US-based non-profit organization which provides a global platform for Shia Muslim health, science professionals for career development as well as the opportunity to offer health education and services to underserved populations globally.
