Shia Youth Killed in Targeted Attack in Karachi
——————————-
A young Shia man, identified as Adil Hussain, was shot dead in a targeted attack by armed militants linked to the Sunni extremist group Sipah-e-Sahaba in Karachi, Pakistan.
According to Al Jazeera, the incident occurred in the Orangi Town area, where assailants opened fire on Hussain, killing him instantly before fleeing the scene.
Police arrived shortly after the attack and transferred the victim’s body to a local hospital for legal and medical procedures.
Despite gradual improvements in Karachi’s security situation in recent years, observers warn that extremist groups continue to threaten sectarian harmony and stability in Pakistan’s largest city, attempting to reignite cycles of violence and fear.
