TTP Claims Responsibility for Terrorist Attack on Military Convoy in Parachinar

According to an IRNA report from local Pakistani sources, unknown assailants targeted a military convoy on Sunday morning near the Chinarak area along the Alizai road leading to Parachinar, Shiite News reported. The terrorist organization Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (referred to as Fitna Khawarij) has claimed responsibility for the attack in a message sent to local media outlets.

Reports from some Pakistani media indicate ongoing instability in the Parachinar region, highlighting threats posed by extremist groups against the vulnerable residents. Last month, a convoy of Pakistani security forces delivering aid, including food, medicine, and clothing to the besieged population of Parachinar, was attacked twice by militant forces, resulting in several fatalities and injuries.
