Pakistan: Security Forces Neutralize Six BLA Militants in Harnai

In a significant operation in Harnai district, security forces killed six alleged militants from the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) on October 3, Dawn reported.

The operation targeted BLA hideouts based on intelligence reports regarding the militants’ presence.

In related incidents, a police officer was killed during a gunfight with dacoits in Khuzdar, where a notorious fugitive was also killed. Additionally, an attack on a prisoners’ van in Dera Murad Jamali resulted in the deaths of an under-trial prisoner and a police official, with several others injured. In Quetta, two men were killed by motorbike snatchers, with police confirming it was not a sectarian attack.
