Kurram Clashes Continue: 5 Dead, 15 Injured on Day 8

Violence in Kurram district has escalated, with five more fatalities and 15 injuries reported as clashes between rival tribes enter their eighth day, Dawn reported on Friday.

The total casualties now stand at 46 dead and 96 injured, according to hospital officials.

The conflict began last week when the Boshehra tribe started constructing bunkers on land claimed by the Ahmadzai tribe, leading to widespread unrest across the region. Key routes, including the Parachinar Highway, have been closed due to the violence.
