Pakistan: Security forces kill 3 terrorists in intelligence-based operation in Balochistan

Three terrorists were eliminated by security forces in an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s Pishin District, Dawn online newspaper reported Tuesday.

According to a military statement, a large cache of arms, ammunition and explosives was recovered during the operation.

This came one day after two alleged terrorists were also killed and several injured in a gun battle with security forces in the district.

Pakistan has witnessed an uptick in terror activities in the past year, especially in KP and Balochistan after the banned militant Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan ended its ceasefire with the government in November 2022.
