Pakistan: Protests to election results across Balochistan disrupt traffic in major roads
Protests by political parties alleging election manipulation persisted in Quetta and other cities of Balochistan for the third consecutive day on Sunday, Dawn reported.
The blockades on main roads and highways led to the province being isolated from other parts of the country, with numerous vehicles stuck at various entry points, causing hardships for the people, including women and children.
The demonstrations leaders pledged to continue the protests and keep roads and highways closed until the results of their winning candidates are corrected. They asserted that the results were altered in favor of candidates who actually lost the elections.
