Representative of Shirazi Religious Authority in Lebanon attends cinematic performance on tragic Al-Taff Battle
The representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi in Lebanon, Hojjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin, Sheikh Jalal Maash, visited the location where the painful scenes of Al-Taff are enacted in the Lebanese Bekaa region.
Maash said in an interview with Shia Waves News Agency that he happy with the participation of some artists who were preparing themselves to perform cinematic scenes about the painful incident of Al-Taff in the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them) Village, located in the Lebanese Bekaa region.”
He added, “During the visit, I met the director and some actors, and I talked to them about the importance and role of films and television series in shedding light on the painful Ashura Tragedy through this purposeful art.”
His Eminence emphasized that “the biography of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them), despite the great injustice and oppression that they faced from the enemies of religion and humanity, is rich in lessons and sacrifices, which the whole world should know through various arts and activities.”
For their part, the members of the work team expressed their happiness with the visit of the representative of the Shirazi Religious Authority, and thanked him for the important advice he provided that serve them in their current work and future artworks.
