GCC-EU High-Level Security Forum Convenes in Kuwait

The second high-level forum on Regional Security and Cooperation between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the European Union (EU) was successfully held in Kuwait, bringing together foreign ministers and senior officials from both blocs.
According to Al Khaleej Online, the meeting was co-chaired by Kuwait’s Foreign Minister, Abdullah Al-Yahya, and the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas. The discussions focused on key regional and international issues, including developments in the Middle East and the crucial subjects of maritime security and the protection of international commercial waterways.
A subsequent ministerial meeting is scheduled to further expand the strategic relationship, focusing specifically on enhancing cooperation in trade, energy, and confronting climate change.
