Shia Kurds in Sulaymaniyah revive the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her )

A gathering of Kurdish Shias of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them) in Sulaymaniyah province in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq participated in commemorating the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatima Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her).

Men, women and children, went out to the slopes of the mountains in a majestic march, to recall the oppression subjected to the daughter of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon her).

The mourners expressed their great condolences for this tragedy, as they chanted slogans of condolence and support for the oppressed martyr Fatima Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her).

The march, which was followed by Shia Waves News Agency, included the establishment of a mourning ceremony and the ritual of chest beating.

The participants carried a banner on which they wrote: “Let us remove the oppression from Fatima Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her), support her, and mourn her openly during the day,” in a sad reference to her secret burial (peace be upon her) away from the eyes of her killers and usurpers of her rights.
