Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation distributes sacrificial meat to poor families in Karbala in cooperation with the Shirazi Religious Authority institutions

The Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development has contributed to helping a large number of poor and needy families in the holy city of Karbala, through its annual project (the Sacrifice Project), which is distributing sacrificial meat to the needy during the blessed Eid al-Adha.

This blessed work comes under the guidance of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq Al-Husseini Al-Shirazi, and in cooperation with Hussein Media Group and the British IHDRF organization.

In a statement obtained by Shia Waves News Agency, the Foundation said: “The Sacrifice Project, in which several institutions affiliated with the Shirazi Religious Authority participate, includes slaughtering a large number of sacrifices and delivering their meat to poor and needy families during the blessed Eid al-Adha.”

It added that “the difficult economic situation that many needy and poor families are going through in many countries and regions has prompted Shirazi charitable, media and human rights institutions to pay attention to their living conditions and provide them with relief.”

The Foundation confirmed that “the Grand Ayatollah always stresses the care of the poor, the needy, and orphans’ families and providing their necessary needs in light of difficult living conditions,” noting that “the Sacrifice Project continues over the days of the blessed Eid al-Adha by distributing meat, in addition to the continuation of the Shirazi charitable institutions to provide aid and food baskets for families in needs.
