Replacement of holy grille of Sayyeda Khadija, daughter of Imam Al-Kadhim in holy Karbala

Pilgrims to the holy shrines inside and outside Iraq expressed their happiness on the replacement of the holy grille of Sayyeda Khadija, daughter of Imam Al-Kadhim (peace be upon them), located in the Hindiya district in holy Karbala.

A correspondent of Shia Waves Agency reported that “the shrine of Sayyida Khadija, the daughter of Imam Al-Kadhim (peace be upon them both), witnessed the replacement of the holy grille with a new one befitting her shrine and divine position.”

He continued, “Efforts to replace the holy grille came from the Special Secretariat of the Shrine of the Sons of Imam al-Kadhim (peace be upon them), and under the supervision of the Engineering Committee of the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrines.”

Sayyida Khadija, peace be upon her, is the daughter of Imam Musa Al-Kadhim (peace be upon him) and the sister of Imam Al-Redha (peace be upon him). She was martyred in defense of the true faith on (27 Shawwal 183 AH).
