Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation signs cooperation agreement with Karbala Statistics Department

Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development, affiliated with the Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in Karbala, has made a new agreement with the Department of Statistics in Karbala, which includes providing the Foundation with statistical data to support its new development project on the Holy Arbaeen Pilgrimage.

According to the foundation director, Hussein Al-Adly, “The agreement includes the first steps to implement the great development project (Karbala Vision 2030 – 50 Million Pilgrims in the Pilgrimage), which aims to examine the capabilities of the service departments in holy Karbala and their readiness to host such numbers of pilgrims.”

 In his statement to Shia Waves News Agency, Al-Adly added that “a delegation from the Foundation visited the Holy Karbala Statistics Department, and met with its Director, Mr. Abbas Tami Inad, to present the Foundation’s development project.”

 He continued, “Inad expressed his department’s full readiness to support the Foundation, especially this project, and handed over to the delegation members a lot of data and information that pertain to Holy Karbala in terms of area, population, and others.”
