Karbala’s tribal sheikhs visit Imam Hussein Media Group

Tribal sheikhs in the holy city of Karbala visited the office of Imam Hussein Media Group.

 His Eminence Sheikh Mustafa Mohammadi, the director in charge of Imam Hussein Media Group channels, received the sheikhs of the Iraqi tribes, including the Al Fatla family, the Al Huwaimed family, the Jabbas family, Bani Tarf and Al Musa family, in his office located in the main building of Imam Hussein Media Group.

While congratulating the group for moving to their new headquarters located in Al-Qibla Street of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, the sheikhs conveyed their greetings to His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Shirazi, and expressed their sorrow about the situation in Iran and the recent events in the country.

The tribal sheikhs also expressed their concern over the recent insults and pressures exerted by the Iranian government on the Shia religious authority, His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, and the arrest and ban of his son, His Eminence Ayatollah Sayyed Hussein al-Shirazi, as they declared and renewed their solidarity with His Eminence the Grand Ayatollah al-Shirazi.

The leaders and heads of the clans and tribes of the Middle Euphrates in Iraq referred to the role of the Shirazi family in leading the Iraqi people during the twentieth revolution against British colonialism, and they recalled and affirmed the respect of their fathers for the Grand Ayatollah Mirza Muhammad Taqi al-Shirazi at that time, and also confirmed that they will respect and be loyal to the Shirazi family like their fathers and the rest of the Iraqi people, as they are proud of being servants of the scientific seminary.

In the meeting, His Eminence Sheikh Mustafa Mohammadi, after thanking the heads of the Iraqi clans and tribes, referred to the historical link between the religious authority and the tribes of the country, and mentioned that His Eminence the Grand Ayatollah Shirazi also emphasized the strengthening of this relationship between the two parties.

The director of Imam Hussein Media Group also invited his guests to participate in the preparation and implementation of the project (Holy Karbala vision 2030 – 50 million pilgrims in the Arbaeen).
