French ambassador to Iraq describes Arbaeen as largest gathering in the world

The French ambassador to Iraq, Eric Chevalier, described the Arbaeen Pilgrimage of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, as the largest gathering in the world.

This came during his meeting with the Chief Cleric of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai, accompanied by the governor of Karbala, Nassif Al-Khattabi, and the governor of Basra, Asaad Al-Eidani.

The French ambassador expressed his great admiration for the state of social solidarity and selflessness, the mechanism of service, organization, teamwork and cooperation in the holy province of Karbala, describing the pilgrimage as the largest gathering in the world.
