Karbala Charitable Foundation continues to provide services to Arbaeen pilgrims for the eighth consecutive day
Karbala Charitable Foundation continues to provide food and services to the Arbaeen pilgrims of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) in the holy city of Karbala for the eighth consecutive day, with around 3000 meals per day.
The foundation said in a statement received by Shia Waves News Agency, “With the launch of the Arbaeen walk every year, lovers of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) walk from various provinces, districts, villages and towns of Iraq from the far south and far north towards the holy city of Karbala, to commemorate the Arbaeen Pilgrimage.”
It added, “Mawkibs provide food and other services to the millions walking towards Karbala.”
He continued, “The Karbala Charitable Foundation, through the Mudheef of Umm al-Baneen, peace be upon her, and under the patronage of His Eminence Sheikh Ibrahim, the Secretary-General of the Islamic Concord Movement, has been providing food to the Arbaeen pilgrims for eight days in Bab al-Qibla Street of Imam Hussein and the Abbasiya district, where they serve 3000 meals for pilgrims in both areas every day.”
