‘Great Husseini Project’ to install ice-making plant ahead of Massive Arbaeen Pilgrimage in Holy Karbala
The team of the ‘Great Husseini Project’, which provides services the Arbaeen pilgrims in Holy Karbala, announced the import of an ice-making plant to serve the pilgrims of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and the processions and service bodies on the days of the Arbaeen pilgrimage this year 1444 AH.
The plant, according to the team members, is of Turkish origin and operates with two production lines, with a production capacity of two thousand ice blocks.
The team confirmed that the plant arrived in holy Karbala and is being installed.
“We are about to witness the massive Arbaeen Pilgrimage, and the need for ice increases especially with the hot weather in order to cool drinking water, juices and some other foodstuffs that Husseini processions distribute to pilgrims coming to Karbala from various regions and countries”, the project team said.
It is noteworthy that the ‘Great Husseini Project’ provides various services to pilgrims of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, every year on the Arbaeen Pilgrimage.
The project is under the auspices and guidance of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence, Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life. Many Husseini young people serve in this project under the supervision of the public relations director of the Shirazi Authority, Sayyed Aref Nasrallah.
