Imam Hussein Media Group opens office in Najaf

The Public Relations Department of Imam Hussein Media Group announced the opening of a branch office for the group in the holy city of Najaf, with the aim of covering religious activities, especially the revival of the holy Husseini rituals.

The PR said in a statement received by Shia Waves News Agency: “The new vision of the media group emphasizes the expansion of news coverage and the production of new programs that keep pace with the various religious activities taking place.”

The statement added that “the group has opened a new office for this purpose in Najaf, where the scientific activities of its honorable seminaries, the activities of the holy shrine and the general followers of Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them) flourish in the city.”

It pointed out that “the media group has been involved for years in the field of media coverage, and has opened offices in Lebanon, London, Lucknow and Istanbul, as well as the holy city of Karbala, to deliver the message of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them) and introduce the activities of their lovers to its viewers in various countries of the world.”

It is worth noting that the Imam Hussein Media Group was launched 14 years ago based on a special recommendation from the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, and it succeeded in securing a wide space for it among Shia and international channels.

The group now includes (6 satellite channels) in five international languages (Arabic, English, Turkish, Persian and Urdu), as well as its media services on Internet platforms and its news agency (Shia Waves News Agency).
