Karbala witnesses launch of largest joyful ceremonies on Greatest Eid of al-Ghadir 

‘Ya La Tharat Al-Hussain’ (peace be upon him) procession in the holy city of Karbala has launched the largest ceremonial program to commemorate the Greatest Day of God, the Great Eid Al-Ghadir, in cooperation with several organizations in the city.

The organizers named the program ‘Al-Ghadiriyoon’ in honor of the great occasion. They said in a joint statement received by Shia News Agency: “The program includes various activities, most notably the distribution of gifts to orphans on the day of the Blessed Ghadir.

In their statement, the organizers stated: “Let us work for the consolidation of the culture of Al-Ghadir and to follow its teachings and to deepen it in the souls, especially the young people, so that they are not deprived of its blessings and the perfection of their religion.”

The statement explained that “the program is being held in cooperation with Karbalaey bodies, including Ya La Tharat Al-Hussain, Khudam AhlulBait, Om Al-A’ima, Shabaab Ali al-Asghar, and Khadamat Ali al-Akbar, as well as the Karbala Mercy and Humanity Group, Youth of holy Karbala, and Al-Raheeq Al-Mahktum Campaign”.

The statement added: “One of the most prominent activities of the ‘Al-Ghadiriyoon’ program is a gift for 313 orphans. Food baskets will be distributed to needy families and food will be distributed free to the citizens on this blessed event”.

It added, “The program includes printing promotional posters for the occasion, distributing Al-Ghadir flags and stickers, with other activities such as presenting ceremonial songs to for the children.
