Employees of Imam Ali Holy Shrine begin work on the Western Street adjacent to the Courtyard of Fatima, peace be upon her

The engineering and technical staffs at Imam Ali Holy Shrine began their work to complete the Western Street adjacent to the Courtyard of Fatima, peace be upon her.

The supervising engineer, Mustafa Majid, said in a statement followed by Shia Waves News Agency: “The work to be accomplished is represented in a campaign to rehabilitate the street separating the project of the Courtyard of Fatima, peace be upon her, and the Site of Imam Zain al-Abidin, peace be upon him.”

He explained, “The work will be completed in two phases to maintain the smooth movement of vehicles and pilgrims, and the completion stages include various civil engineering works, which will end with paving the street with alabaster, with the addition of water canals to beautify the road for pilgrims.”
