Coinciding with the days marking the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (peace be upon her), a commemoration ceremony was held in Russia to honor her memory.

According to Shia Waves Agency, the event was organized by a group of Shia students residing in Russia, with the support of the Global “Imam Hussain for All” Campaign and the cooperation of several religious organizations, including the Ahlulbayt Association and Husseiniyah Safeenat al-Najat in the city of Volgograd.

The ceremony featured programs conducted in three languages — Russian, Arabic, and Azerbaijani. Activities included recitations from the Holy Qur’an, religious and cultural lectures on the noble character of Lady Fatimah (peace be upon her), as well as eulogies and lamentations performed in multiple languages.

Religious scholars and cultural figures highlighted the spiritual and historical role of Lady Fatimah in preserving the legacy of the Prophet and the Imamate, emphasizing the importance of following her example in daily life.

The Imam Hussain for All Campaign stated that the purpose of organizing such events is to create a spiritual atmosphere, strengthen the connection of youth with the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them), and expand Shia cultural activities within academic and educational settings.

Additional religious and cultural programs are also planned to take place across Russia in the coming weeks.
