———————————–
Al-Sibtayn University (peace be upon them both) has announced that it will host Iraq’s First International Conference on Medical Education in Karbala from October 25 to 27, 2025.
The event is organized with the support of the Imam Husayn Holy Shrine (peace be upon him) and will feature the participation of 100 researchers from various countries.
As reported by Shia Waves Agency, a primary goal of the conference is to establish a specialized academic center for granting degrees in a rare medical specialization within Iraq.
Other key areas of focus include reviewing the latest global developments in medical education, and exploring the crucial role of modern technologies and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in training and improving students’ skills. The scientific event is expected to pave the way for increased international cooperation and the overall elevation of medical education standards across Iraq.
