Iraq’s General Directorate of Information Technology and Communications has expanded free internet services for Arbaeen pilgrims by installing 30 new broadcasting stations in Al-Haidariya district along the Najaf–Karbala route, bringing the total to 233 stations across pilgrimage paths.

The directorate said the move responds to growing demand, enabling pilgrims to stay connected with their families and share their experiences in real time, while ensuring broader coverage for millions of participants.

Technical teams are monitoring station performance and providing immediate maintenance to guarantee stable, high-quality service throughout the pilgrimage period.
