Adnan Javad also stated: “Due to the increase in heat, a number of pilgrims come to us, and if their problem can be solved on an outpatient basis, they are provided with first aid, and if they are facing an acute problem, they are referred to clinics and centers to receive further advanced services.

In relation to the bases of this community in Karbala and its surroundings, he said: The Red Crescent community has divided the holy city of Karbala into several parts in order to fulfill its duties. It has set up field tents at the exit of Baghdad-Karbala, on the path of Mosayyib to Karbala, at the exit of Babol, Tuwairij, Hindiyeh, Ebrahimeh, and Fariha to provide first aid to those in need. In addition, a clinic has been planned to connect these bases.

He further said: Three clinics have been placed on the way to Najaf, and clinics are also planned in Mathna, Divaniyyeh, and Basra. These clinics are not far from each other so as to ease transfers if needed.

Adnan Javad, referring to the presence of a number of volunteer members of the Red Crescent Society for providing services to pilgrims during Arbaeen, said: these people are present among the participants in the Arbaeen Walk in different directions and provide the necessary services to pilgrims. Additionally, field tents have been set up for the care and treatment of patients.
