Kazimayn Walk approaching its final days as devotees of Ahlul-Bayt near Shrine of Imam al-Kazim
Pilgrims, mourners and devotees of the Ahlul-Bayt (peace be upon them) from all over the world are reaching the city of Kazimayn on foot and in vehicles to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Musa al-Kazim (peace be upon him).

The Kazimayn Walk is the second largest processional walk after the Arbaeen Walk, which has been a tradition in Iraq for years. The pilgrims and devotees of Ahlul-Bayt, peace be upon them, are currently on their way to Kazimayn Shrine.
Since last month, huge caravans of pilgrims have moved on foot from different parts of Iraq towards Baghdad to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of the honorable Imam Musa bin Jafar, peace be upon them.
The Iraqi caravans, which include a huge gathering of people from the devotees of Ahlul-Bayt (peace be upon them) from the southern provinces of Iraq, have started their journey in order to honor the blessed tradition of Ziyarah during the month of Rajab.
The journey of caravans on foot from the provinces of Basra, Dhi Qar and Maysan to the holy city of Kazimayn for visitation of the sacred shrines of Imam al-Kazim and Imam al-Jawad, peace be upon them, takes about five weeks.
A huge number of pilgrims and followers of the Ahlul-Bayt, peace be upon them, under the title of ‘Walaa and Nusrat Caravans’, have moved towards the capital of Iraq, Baghdad, to commemorate the sorrowful martyrdom of the seventh Imam of the Ahlul-Bayt, peace be upon them.
Thousands of mourners from Najaf, Karbala, Samarra and other Iraqi cities, have joined the walk to reach the spiritual shrine of Bab al-Hawa’ij, Imam Musa al-Kazim (peace be upon him), to express their condolences on the occasion of this great loss to the Imam of the Time.
These pilgrims include thousands of zealous young people, children, and the elderly, along with women and family members, who are walking towards the holy shrine of the oppressed and poisoned Imam.
Many Hosseini mawakib have set up their booths and tents to serve pilgrims on the routes where these pilgrims are moving towards Kazimayn, in order to provide them with all their necessities on this journey.
Millions of devotees of the Pure Ahlul Bayt, peace be upon them, including various tribes and nomads, from all walk of life within the noble fabric of the Iraqi society revive this tradition every year.
The Shiites and followers of Imam Musa bin Jafar (peace be upon them) all over the world, commemorate the anniversary of his martyrdom every year on 25th of Rajab. They dress in attires of mourning for the captive of the dungeons of oppression, and the long-held prisoner of the enemies of Ahlul-Bayt, Imam al-Kazim, peace be upon him.
It should be mentioned that Imam Hussein Media Group has started the live coverage of the walk of these pilgrims and mourners to the holy city of Kazimayn since Friday, the 21st of Rajab.
According to the report by the Project and Planning Office of the media group, the live broadcast of Kazimayn Walk will continue until the martyrdom anniversary of the Seventh Imam (peace be upon him) through the six channels affiliated with this media group and in five languages.
