Shia Muslims worldwide celebrate the birth anniversary of Imam Redha, peace be upon him

Ahlukbayt followers in various cities of the world commemorated the birth anniversary of Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Redha, peace be upon him, by holding many Islamic celebrations and decorating streets and alleys with lights and banners.
Hundreds of thousands arrived to the holy city of Mashhad to commemorate the blessed occasion, amid an atmosphere of joy and happiness and the exchange of congratulations among the followers of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.
The holy shrines in Iraq, Syria and Iran, and the centers and hussainiyahs in Muslim and non-Muslim countries witnessed celebrations, which included lectures that touched on the life of Imam al-Redha, peace be upon him, and his scientific roles, and his dissemination of the teachings of his grandfather, Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his progeny.
The celebrations also included the recitation of poems and praises in honor of the eighth imam, peace be upon him.
