Pakistan: Jamiat Organizes Seminar on Imam Hussain (peace be upon him)

On the occasion of Muharram Al-Haram, Islami Jamiat Talba at the University of Karachi held a seminar titled “Shahadat e Imam Hussain (peace be upon him),” Shiite News reported. The event saw a large turnout of students who engaged deeply with the historical and religious significance of the Karbala tragedy.

Former Secretary General of Jamiat, Asad Ali Qureshi, delivered a special address, highlighting Imam Hussain’s (peace be upon him) martyrdom as a symbolic battle between right and wrong and a guiding light for the Muslim Ummah.

Kamran Sultan Ghani, current Nazim of Islami Jamiat Talaba Karachi University, honored Asad Ali Qureshi with a shield for his contributions and thanked all participants and organizers. He emphasized the organization’s commitment to youth awareness and character building.

The seminar concluded with prayers and a tribute to the legacy and sacrifice of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him).
