Israeli Military Completes Targeted Airstrikes on Iranian Facilities
The Israeli military announced on Saturday, October 26, the completion of targeted airstrikes against Iranian military facilities.
The strikes aimed at missile manufacturing sites believed to have produced missiles used in attacks against Israel over the past year. This military action was a response to recent missile assaults from Tehran.
The Iranians confirmed that military sites in the provinces of Ilam, Khuzestan and Tehran had been struck, describing the damage as “limited”
In addition to the missile facilities, Israeli forces targeted surface-to-air missile systems and other aerial assets to enhance operational capabilities within Iranian airspace. Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari confirmed that the operation was successful, with all aircraft returning safely.
Hagari stated that the Israeli military has fulfilled its mission and warned that any further escalation from Iran would prompt a response. Reports indicated that over 100 Israeli fighter jets participated in the operation.
